Craplin’s Holiday Camp is now ready to welcome mature holiday makers on their latest Pensioner Specials. The ageing Bluecoats and staff are eager to welcome the discerning holiday maker and promise that campers will enjoy a fun filled programme specially designed for older people.

The year may still be 1959, but our staff have aged considerably. However, maturity has not changed their basic characters. Jeffrey is still being pursued by a desperate Gladys; Partridge has become more bad tempered and irritable with the passing years; Yvonne and Barry have become more bitter and cynical, especially with each other; Fred still stinks of horses; Spike is still the eternal optimist whilst Ted has continued his scams; the female Bluecoats are still enthusiastic; whilst Peggy still dreams of becoming a Bluecoat before she receives her Old Age Pension. The passing years have not necessarily brought them wisdom. The Craplin Debonaires are still keen to entertain you with their colourful nightly cabaret shows in the fabulous Hawaiian Ballroom.

Campoverde Theatre Group have been very busy rehearsing for their latest show, Di de Di which will be performed at the Casa de Cultura, San Miguel on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March. This musical has something for everybody, great music from the 1950’s, well known characters and story lines.
