THE PIPES AND DRUMS PREPARE MUSIC FOR ST PATRICK

The St Patrick’s Day parade at Cabo Roig is planned to be a bigger than ever event this year, with co-operation from local traders, the Orihuela Costa town hall, and many local organisations. The parade will be led by the Torrevieja Pipes and Drums band who will lead St Patrick along the planned route, as they did last year.

There will be lots of Irish music, of course, and the Torrevieja Pipes and Drums will certainly play their part, as they are busy practising more Irish songs to include in their programme. A special tune called ‘St Patrick’s Day’ and an old favourite, ‘Back to Donegal’, will be amongst them.

The band members are very much looking forward to this spectacle, which brings together many local people of different nationalities, as well as the many visitors who are expected from overseas.

The Torrevieja Pipes and Drums perform at many charity events, and are available for private functions. New members are always welcome. For further information, please contact Barry on 966712076
