SPECIAL BUSES FOR ORIHUELA EASTER CELEBRATIONS

The Orihuela Costa town hall has now released the provisional bus services to take visitors from the coast to the city to celebrate and enjoy some of the most astounding easter celebrations around.

SUNDAY 24TH OF MARCH

From Playa Flamenca at 10am, to La Glorieta square in Orihuela

Back from there at 1.30pm to see

The Palm Procession11.30am starting at the Town Hall and

the Concert of processional marches on La Glorieta Square starting at 12.30pm.

From Playa Flamenca at 4pm to La Glorieta square in Orihuela

Back from there at 8pm to see

The Roman Centurions marching through Orihuela

HOLY FRIDAY 27TH OF MARCH

1st bus at 6pm starting in Playa Flamenca, to Ociopia (behind town hall in Orihuela)

return from there at 10.30pm

2nd bus at 8pm starting in Playa Flamenca, to La Glorieta square

return from there at 0.30am

The big Easter Procession is very long and starts at the town hall, for this reason the first bus will stop at Ociopia (behind the town hall).

The second bus will bring the passengers to La Glorieta square.

SATURDAY 30TH OF MARCH

From Playa Flamenca at 4pm, to Santo Domingo in Orihuela

Return at 9pm from La Glorieta square, to see

The “Caballero Cubierto” coming from Santo Domingo and being escorted to the Town Hall with the Government of Orihuela, the Roman Centurions, music bands etc.

From the Town Hall starts at around 7pm the procession.

Note: There may be one or two minor changes to the schedule, but make sure you get your place booked as soon as you can.
