NEW LEISURE WEBSITE FOR COSTA BLANCA

A very useful new website has recently been launched on the Costa Blanca by the Provincial Tourism Board just in time for the Easter Holidays containing lots of information and ideas for visitors who are travelling on a budget. It contains a whole host of information listing a wide variety of things to do and places to visit at very little or no cost.

The website, www.tuplancostablanca.com, includes a total of fifteen short stay plans. There are links to restaurants, budget accommodation and companies that are able to offer you organized activities. Many of these businesses and organizations have collaborated with the campaign by providing competitive prices and extra services at absolutely no cost.

The site offers potential visitors with two options. The first option directs them to fifteen plans that are already prepared. Alternatively the visitor is also able to research from 200 other deals from which he can make his own arrangements from the many suggestions that have been presented by the companies and municipalities that have entered into the initiative.

The Torrevieja Deputy Mayor, Joaquín Albaladejo, explained that the main initiative is to offer potential visitors a variety of attractive proposals that will enable them to keep themselves occupied during their holidays without travelling too far or without going to any great expense.

Nautical activities, things to do in the town and in surrounding municipalities, cultural offerings and Holy Week activities and processions, are just some of the ideas that have been included when preparing the various plans.

In developing the website, attention has been paid to many suggestions that don’t involve any cost to the visitor, and yet are of great appeal. In this regard there are many walks highlighted across the whole of the Alicante region, all of which are known to have great cultural value, urban appeal or beauty within their natural environment.
