On 4 and 5 May 2013 the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Torrevieja will host an under 18 Spanish Club Championship, and fans can come along and watch the next generation of Spanish talent for FREE!

Following the success of the Spanish national under 18s who recently won the Division A European Championship in Grenoble, France, sixteen teams come to Torrevieja to compete at the tournament from clubs including VALLADOLID, CRC MADRID, SANTBOI BARCELONA, CIENCIAS SEVILLA, MARBELLA MALAGA, GETXO BILBAO, VIGO GALICIA, CAU VALENCIA, and LA VILA.

The first stage of the tournament will be played on the three pitches at the Sports City in Torrevieja, before moving to the Nelson Mandela Stadium for the finals.

Saturday games start at 9.00 am and go on until 2.00 pm, and Sunday games will start at 10.00 am, with the Final to be played at 1.00 pm.

Entry is FREE for everyone, and there will be a raffle for free rugby balls and shirts for children. Refreshments will be available at both grounds throughout the tournament.

Torrevieja council will be providing a giant paella to keep all of the players energised after their matches, and the finals will also be shown on television, as well as online via the Spanish Federation web page.
