Guardia Traffic Cop Killed

A Guardia Civil motorcyclist died yesterday afternoon at a hospital in León, where he was taken after being hit by a truck on Sunday on the junction between the A-6 and A-52, in the municipality of Villabrázaro, Zamora.

The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon, when according to a report from the 112 emergency centre, the biker was stopped on the hard shoulder and was hit by a truck.

An ambulance and helicopter responded immediately, taking the 37 year old officer to the León hospital, but he died yesterday as a result of the injuries sustained. The funeral was held on Tuesday in Villabrázaro.
