10/05/2013. The General Secretariat of Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Affairs welcomes the renewal of the Application Protocol governing the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Seychelles as it guarantees the continuity of fishing activity in this country of the Indian Ocean. The agreement, which was signed on Friday in Victoria (Seychelles), is expected to come into effect in January 2014 and will remain in force for six years – twice as long as the previous protocol.
