The Guardia Civil has put the provision of uniform contract out to tender, with a view to replacing various everyday items of uniform clothing, with a value of almost 12 million euro, including tax.

The tender process has been launched by the head of economic affairs and is open for bids until the 21st of June.

The contract is divided into three lots, the first has an estimated value of more than 4.8 million euro for short and long sleeved shirts, as well as jumpers, complete with patches. The second lot consists of jackets and trousers, some with removable thermal lining, and caps, and is worth 6.8 million euro. The third batch is for polyvalent shoes and boots and is valued at 263,780 euro.
