A total of seven people have died in any of the seven accidents on Spanish roads over the weekend, reported a spokesman for the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT).

The weekend also left a number of people injured in a provisional balance including fatal accidents between 15:00 on Friday and 20:00 Sunday.

The worst day was Saturday, when six people died and four were injured.

On Friday there were no fatal accidents, while on Sunday, with data until eight o’clock, one person had been killed.
