On 24 May 2013 the European Day of the Parks is inviting everyone who enjoys nature to share their passion and experiences at the Natural Park of the Lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja
In order to do this the members of the group of International Environmental Volunteers, (Asociación Rutas y Caminos de la Sal) who work in collaboration with the Natural Park, are going to make a presentation in which they will show the results of the work they have carried out during the years in which they have collaborated with us.
Afterwards there will be a guided visit with those who participate.
The Park personnel will lead this visit and the volunteers will collaborate to show their enthusiasm for this Natural Protected Area.
10.30-10.45 Reception for those who take are taking part in the Interpretation Centre of the Natural Park.
10.45 Presentation of the results up to date and the projects for the future of the International Environmental Volunteers, Asociación Rutas y Caminos de la Sal.
12.00-13.00 Guided walk from the Information Centre to the boardwalk from which there is a short walk to the Pinada recreation area.

EUROPARC Federation: 40 years Working for Nature
“40 years Working for Nature” is the theme of the EUROPARC Federation´s 40th anniversary in 2013.
The EUROPARC Federation currently boasts some 400 members in 35 countries: it works closely with policy institutions on the European Commission level, and international programmes such as LIFE and Natura 2000 to make its members gain the most of its expertise and international network.
