One of the injured has been rushed to Torrecárdenas hospital and the other has been treated in the infirmary of the military compound.
According to a report from the army, the three soldiers were deactivating explosives and had extensive experience in international missions. At the time of the accident the three were near a BMR armoured vehicle, which carries mortars, when the explosion occurred.
An investigation is being carried out to ascertain more details of the incident.
