BARCELONA FLIGHT IN EMERGENCY LANDING

An Easyjet plane from Barcelona, bound for Berlin, made an emergency landing at Malpensa airport near Milan today, after the aircraft suffered a broken window.

Italian media report that the plane requested an emergency landing due to the breakage which caused the depressurization of the cabin, but no one was injured.

The reports state that there were “moments of tension and concern among the passengers”, adding that several ambulances and emergency vehicles responded, but the aircraft made a safe landing without further incident.
