Leave the car at home and let the bus take the strain of the busy summer roads, as the Habaneras Shopping Centre has announced a free shuttle service from around the area, operating from the 1st of June until the 15th of September.
The 22 seater minibus will cover a variety of areas on a range of days and routes, taking in hotels such as La Finca Golf, Doña Montse, Guardamar, La Laguna, Mil Palmeras, La Zenia and Cabo Cervera, as well as residential zones in Torrevieja, Quesada, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Guardamar and more.
The free service is thought to be the latest initiative to try to combat the loss of business caused by the opening of the Zenia Boulevard, which organizers hope might give an injection of regeneration to a mall which itself faced criticism for drawing trade away from the smaller businesses in the centre of the city.
On Monday, the bus covers hotels in the area.
Hotel La Finca and Hotel Doña Monse, departing at 11:00, returning at 16:00.
Hotel P. Guardamar and Hotel La Laguna, departing at 12:00, returning at 17:00.
Mil Palmeras Hotel and Hotel La Zenia, departing at 13:00, returning at 18:00.
Hotel Masa and Hotel Cabo Cervera, departing at 14:00, returning at 19:00.

On a Friday and Saturday it is the urban areas who get the service.
