REGIONAL POLICE ON THE INCREASE

The Valencia regional police force has welcomed another 51 members to its ranks, growing the force to a total of 123 officers serving the province of Alicante.

Of the 51 new officers, 40 of them will be stationed at the new Elche police station, which will be opening “soon”, according to the Minister of the Interior and Justice Serafín Castellano, during a briefing with the new officers, welcoming them to the source.

There has been a visible increase in the number of regional police officers seen across the area, investigating matters relating to licensing, employment and other administrative offences, amongst other things.
