More details are coming to light over the tragic death of three British people in a hous in the Torrenueva area of Mijas.
Although official statements are yet to be confirmed, sources close to the investigation reveal that the first impressions of the Guardia Civil officers who entered the house is that the man killed his wife and his daughter, before committing suicide.
It is also stated that the mother was physically disabled, and the daughter suffered Down syndrome.
The landlord of the property found the bodies, having attended the house having not received rent for the home, nor having the ability to make contact with the tenants. Statements indicate that the man was found sat on the sofa, with at least one gunshot wound to the head, apparently fatal. The landlord immediately left the house and called the Guardia Civil.
When the officers entered the house, they also found the other two bodies, also having apparently died as a result of gunshot wounds.
The hypothesis is that the man therefore killed the two women, before turning the gun on himself, although there is no indication as to the location of the weapon.
