MODERN JIVE ARRIVES IN JAVEA

Members of the newly formed Jive Javea Dance Club watched mesmerized as Matthew Brooke and Rebecca Green demonstrated the skills which had propelled them to the finals of the Indie Jive Championship, competition in Surrey last Saturday.

They have also reached the finals of the World Championships in Blackpool and the Ceroc London Championship, all at intermediate level. This is amazing as they have only been partnering each other for just over one year.

The Achill Bar on the Arenal Beach Javea was the perfect venue for the large group of Jivers, who with their teacher Kevin Bennett danced the night away. Kevin is newly arrived from England where he taught jive and is aiming to set up a Jive class on a regular base where he can teach non dancers and those wishing to improve their techniques.

Would be dancers and those who are already hooked on Jive in its many forms should look up Jive Javea on face book for information on all future events.
