‘BENIJÓFAR CRISIS APPEAL’ RAISES CLOSE TO 1000 EURO

Following the full-house fundraiser at ‘El Alto La Dolores Restaurant’ in Guardamar, on the 24th July, when ‘Woody & The Peckers’ rocked the night away, to an audience of nearly 200, a presentation was made of the cheque on Friday 2nd August, to Benijófar Social Services, to support their help for the families most distressed by the current economic situation. The 950€ will be used to provide food, clothing, school books etc, and thus ease their hardship. A big thank you to the organisers, the Restaurant, the Band, and all those who attended, and made this donation possible.

ELVIS ‘will be in the building’ when ‘El Alto La Dolores’ hosts another

fund-raising night which will be a tribute to ‘THE KING of Rock’n’Roll’ on 16th August (the 36th anniversary of his death). Tickets are just 10 euros, and include a BBQ meal, and these are available from Restaurante El Alto La Dolores; The Post Room Benijofar; The Card Place Benimar; or by ‘phoning either 965 323 028 or 692 866 536. The last event was sold out a week before, so don’t delay in booking your place!
