Minister of the economy, Luis de Guindos, said that the unemployment rate in 2013 will be below the 27.1% set in the stability program submitted to Brussels in April, as a result of “positive inertia” n the labour market.

The secretary of the PSOE, Óscar López, has contradicted the projected unemployment figures reported by the Minister of the economy, Luis de Guindos, stating that the data does not support his optimism.

The secretary of the PSOE, Óscar López, demanded that the President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, “give new explanations immediately to the Spanish people” over his alleged involvement with the so-called ‘Barcenas’ case.
