The Minister of Education, José Ignacio Wert, explained today that the new scholarship system responds “clearly” to “efficiency and sustainability”, but the allocation of an additional 250 million euro for next year has been questioned by the opposition.

Deputy Secretary for General Studies and Programs for the Partido Popular, Esteban González Pons, said today that the PP keeps its promises because they had said that Spain would emerge from the crisis and “you’re out”, whilst calling for caution of “political trouble” that could ruin the economic recovery.
