WHERE DINOSAURS ONCE ROAMED

Researchers from the universities of Zaragoza and Barcelona, and the Catalan Institute of Palaeontology, believe they have found the most modern footprints of dinosaurs in Europe.

The fossilised footprints have been found in the beds of ancient rivers in the Pyrenees, thought to have been trampled just 65 million years ago.

Experts say that this is further proof that dinosaurs walked this part of the earth before becoming extinct at the hands of a large meteor striking the earth.
