Government of Spain joins international call against the death penalty

On Thursday, the Government of Spain is observing the World and European Day against the Death Penalty that was celebrated for the first time in 2003 in response to a call made by the World Coalition against the Death Penalty, which is formed by non-governmental organisations, lawyers’ associations, trade unions and governments from all over the world.
