28/10/2013. Spain mourns the death of a UN peacekeeper from Tanzania who formed part of the United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) while taking part, alongside the Armed Forces of the DRC (DRCAF), in an operation to protect civilians on the Kiwanja-Rutshuru axis, 25 kilometres from the city of Goma. The death occurred after the Group M23 has resumed armed attacks in eastern DRC, which Spain condemns.
