SAN FULGENCIO UPDATE FROM CONCEJALIA DE LAS URBANIZACIONES

The Office for the Urbanisations, led by Councillor Jeff Wiszniewski (PIPN – Partido Independiente por las Nacionalidades) and his team are pleased to send you our latest information update, giving you information on events and activities happening throughout San Fulgencio and the Urbanisations.

Remembrance Sunday

On Sunday the 10th of November at 11.30am there will be a remembrance service with representatives of both the Church of England and also the Roman Catholic Church at the Plaza de la Constitución in San Fulgencio Village. The Townhall will be laying a wreath on the day.

Poppies

There are poppies available at the Office for the Urbanisations in Calle Madrid.

Netball

If you are interested in joining our netball team, please contact the Office for the Urbanisations on 966 443 002 or come into the office on Calle Madrid.

Christmas Appeal

As last year, we are starting our campaign to collect toys and gifts for the most needy children of San Fulgencio. If you are donating a shoe box, please state on it the age and sex of the child that it is relevant for. Please bring any donations to the Office of the Urbanisations on Calle Madrid.

The Law on Dogs

It is compulsory to register your pet on the Townhall Registry and have it vaccinated.

Pets on public highways must be on a lead or chain.

Potentially dangerous pets must be held by a no longer than 2 metre leash and must have a muzzle.

Fines will be given to owners who allow their pets to defecate in public areas. These fines range from 30€ to 300€.

There are plastic bags for excrement collection available at the Town Hall.

Christmas Market

On Saturday the 16th of November between 5pm and 10pm and on Sunday the 17th of November between 10.30am and 3pm there will be a Christmas Market in the Social Centre of Urb. Marina. The stalls will sell handmade gifts, cakes, drinks, mulled wine, barbeque etc. If you wish to have a stall, please come into the Office for the Urbanisations to register.

Bottle Tops

We have been asked to collect plastic bottletops in the office here on Calle Madrid to help fund a child´s operation. If you have any of these tops please bring them into the Office of the Urbanisations.

Scout Leaders

We have been approached by several people who are interested in forming a scout group here in San Fulgencio. However, we would need volunteers for Scout Leaders. Anyone who is interested, please come into the Office of the Urbanisations.

New Years Eve

We are planning to have a New Years Eve disco party in the Social Centre from 8pm til late with grapes and cider at midnight.

Bring your own refreshments and food.
