CORRIE STARS WELCOME BACK TODD

As Coronation Street fans watched a troubled character return on Monday, Twitter was offering an alternative form of entertainment.

Actor Bruno Langley returned to the cobbles playing Todd Grimshaw, gay son of Eileen who, you might remember, snogged the former Nick Tilsley. Former in that Nick was played by a different actor to the one performing in the role now.

Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, real life brother of actor Ryan Thomas who plays Jason Grimshaw in Corrie (this all gets very confusing) Tweeted, “I should have played Todd #justsaying”, although said in good humour fact that siblings could play siblings might make a lot of sense. Adam Thomas had previously said, “Got to say I´m looking well in Corrie tonight”.

Sibling rivalry on Twitter, in the nicest possible way, could be seen though by their comical exchange of Tweets, Adam complaining of too much Ryan on TV, retweeted by Ryan, “RT @adamthomas21: Jasons getting far too much air time tonight #corrie #tightorange #kinky hahaha joker”.

Actor Anthony Cotton tweeted a welcome back to Langley, although the character he plays may not be too welcoming, if he´s read the scripts already #nospoilershere.

In fact, as most of the tweeting cast members of Corrie echoed the welcome back of Todd, but one former Corrie star took to complaining. Not because of anything going on in the show, but because of the cold! Former Coronation Street star, now “celebrity”, Helen Flanagan Tweeted, “Still on shoot so cold”, which, given her recently released portfolio of naked pictures might prompt the obvious comment of, “put some clothes on”, but with the 1,000 or so likes of the picture she posted, pictures of Helen Flanagan seem welcome in any guise.
