BRITISH AIRWAYS REINSTATE DIRECT LONDON HEATHROW TO MALAGA FLIGHT CONNECTION
British Airways are due to re-instate their direct London Heathrow to Malaga flight connection from March 2014.
The news was confirmed by British Airways during a meeting with Andalusia’s tourism and commerce councilor, Rafael Rodriguez.
The route will be re-instated with two flights per week in the beginning, but it is planned to increase this to four direct flights during the summer season. The news is considered by many as clear evidence that airlines are, once again, betting on Andalucia and the Costa del Sol as a main destination for British tourism.
“It´s a great satisfaction to have these flights available again, opening new expectations towards foreign markets with which the airlines have the best connections at Heathrow” he said.
