Spain welcomes ?crucial steps? taken at Warsaw Summit to reach agreement in 2015

The delegation from Spain at the 19th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 19), which concluded in Warsaw (Poland) on Saturday, welcomed the “crucial steps” taken at this summit towards reaching an agreement at the 2015 summit in Paris and expressed Spain’s willingness and commitment to maintain efforts at achieving a new agreement capable of ensuring the environmental integrity of the future climate regime that seeks to attain the ultimate goal of the Convention – to ensure that average global temperatures rise by no more than 2ºC by 2050.
