According to the first preliminary data, which will be published by the Ministry of the Treasury and Public Administration Services on Tuesday, the budgetary result posted by the Central Government, regional governments and Social Security System as a whole (discounting the financial aid given to the financial system) in national accounting terms for the month of September shows a deficit of 4.8% of GDP – practically the same figure as in the previous month and one that does not include the local authorities, which posted a surplus of 0.45% of GDP last year.
