The European Research Council (ERC) announced the results from the Synergy Grants call for proposals on Wednesday, which will provide 150 million euros of funding for 13 research projects. Spain has received funding for three research projects of excellence – in which seven teams of researchers will take part – that will be given up to 15 million euros each through the Synergy Grants call for proposals issued by the European Research Council. Spain was the second-most successful country in this funding announcement, behind Germany.
