LANGUAGE COURSE IN PILAR

Pilar’s Councillor for Integration, Violeta Martínez, attended the final day of a language course last Wednesday where she presented certificates of achievement to 36 foreign students who had all successfully completed a course in ‘Spanish for Foreigners’ organised by the Town Hall.

The students, all from different nationalities , said they were very pleased with the outcome of the course, all of whom joined in with the celebrations by learning a little of the Spanish culture as they each tasted a sample of traditional Christmas sweets in the classroom.

Martínez said that in the next few weeks the Town Hall will be most likely to launch a new edition of the course as there are still many residents eager to learn the language and improve their knowledge of Spanish culture so that they might better integrate into their new way of life.
