EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CLUBS DESCEND ON LA MANGA

From 4 January to late March more than 90 football teams from 20 different countries will use the La Manga facilities beginning with Standard Liege next week (from 6th January).

La Manga Club , December 26, 2013 – 90 teams from 20 countries are the figures at La Manga Club shuffles school football season winter 2014 , beginning at its facilities on 4 January. They will be followed by the under 16 and under 17 squads from the German National Team who will arrive on the 6th.

Female senior teams from Netherlands and Norway will arrive on 10 and 11 January respectively, and the 14th will see the arrival of Alianza de Lima.
The England and Ireland women’s teams will pass through the La Manga Club from 12 to 19 January and 13 to 17 January.

Other arrivals will include – On January 13 Barcelona under 17 , January 25 to February 8 Sport Luanda and Benfica FC and January 26 to February 4 there will be Rosenborg, Stromsgodset , El Odd Grenland and Haugesund followed by German teams , Fortuna Düsseldorf and FC Ingolstadt

All of the clubs will be taking advantage of the Spanish climate and the superb La Manga facilities, 8 football pitches, one with stands and capacity for 800 people.
