According to figures from National Transplant Organisation (Spanish acronym: ONT), the generosity of 16 donors (two of them living donors) resulted in 26 kidney transplants, 10 liver transplants, five heart transplants, three lung transplants and one pancreas transplant being performed. 22 hospitals from 11 autonomous regions carried out these operations. The record previously stood at 36 transplants in one day.
