ADOPT-A-FRIEND EVENT IN TORREVIEJA ON SATURDAY

On Saturday the 15th of March, Torrevieja will be taken over by an event aimed at encouraging the adoption of pets from local shelters, under the banner “Adopt a Friend”, beginning at 12:00.

First, a solidarity march will work its way from the Plaza de la Constitución to the Paseo Vista Alegre, where, an hour later, a parade and presentation of some of the pets looking for a new forever home will take place.

There will be other sideshows during the event, including face-painting for children and an information table, whilst the groups involved are also asking for donations of collars, leads, food, cleaning products and other accessories, to enable them to continue to provide care whilst looking to re-home the mostly abandoned animals.
