“LUCKY” MONSE

Friday’s civil case in Orihuela was for precautionary measures to be taken in regards to the non validity of the alleged expulsion of Juan Ignacio Lopez Bas and Pedro Mancebo from the director’s board of the CLR-CLARO coalition by Bob Houliston.

It was widely expected that the civil court would rule that Pedro and Juan were not expelled from the CLR-CLARO coalition because valid procedures were not followed.

Bob’s story gave the impression that Juan and Pedro had been expelled, making them non-ascribed councillors and stopping them from voting the Mocion of Censura on the 3rd January. The civil court ruling would have shown that Bob Houliston acted illegally.

However the civil court case was postponed today because the public prosecutor “did not turn up”. The new date for the civil case is the 11th April. The date for the contentious-administrative court case was postponed last month until 24th April because the court clerk “forgot” to request a file from the town hall. It’s amazing how “lucky” our left wing minority government is.
