Orihuela Town Hall has recently put out four new containers for the collection of fluorescent light bulbs, tubes, lamps and LEDs.
Such lights are known to contain small amounts of mercury and must be properly disposed of so as not to present a danger to anyone with whom they might subsequently be handled. In their recycling their materials can also be re used.
The containers have been installed at the entrance to both the Orihuela and the Orihuela Costa Town halls and at the Alameda del Mar Civic Center.
