Orihuela Police

As part of their commitment to offer support for the victims of gender violence, the local police of Orihuela arrested a Lithuanian man this week, who had breached a restraining order.

The officers from the group dedicated to protecting victims had been carrying out monitoring of a victim, and became aware of the man in the Orihuela Costa area, with a restraining order in force in which he had to remain at least 500 metres distance from his victim.

The dedicated team of officers from Orihuela provide 24 hour care, including an emergency contact line and personal support to victims, and this latest case is seen as a testament to their dedication in enforcing the laws relating to protecting victims.
