LA VILA WINNERS OF INTERNATIONAL SEVENS TOURNAMENT MAY 3th

Last Saturday the International Sevens Tournament was held May 3 in Villajoyosa Rugby Stadium where played the English team West Hartlepool and Esher, the Madrid club Getafe RC Akra Barbara and Alicante, University of Alicante and CR participated La Vila.

The jonenses got a perfect record in the regular season by beating Esher by 59-0 , at West Hartlepool by 17-5 and 38-5 University of Alicante.

Thus, they qualified for the semifinals of the Gold Cup where they beat the Akra Barbara by 34-0 . The final of the tournament had as protagonists the hosts and the English team West Hartlepool on a tight 19-14 result in favor of the vileros .

The first contact with the seven mode this season was positively settled for La Vila has no time to relax because next Saturday, May 10th will be the 1st round of the Championship Seven of Valencia again in Rugby Stadium Villajoyosa.
