ORIHUELA PP COMPLAIN CULTURE WORKERS HAVE NOT BEEN PAID

The Partido Popular of Orihuela have publicly denounced the situation in which the bipartite government team are said to be responsible for a situation in which 23 municipal workers for the Orihuela Cultural department have not been paid.

The PP claim that this is the second time this has happened and hold the councillor for culture, Rosa Martínez, responsible, claiming that the councillor is hiding behind the city´s General Controller, blaming that department for the fact that the workers have not received their salaries .

In a statement, the P say that “The bipartite once again displays a lack of humility by charging others with their faults, since the responsibility for everything that happens regarding workers for the council is uniquely theirs”. They continue to state that this is a case of serious misconduct that they themselves caused and has left the workers without their average 1,000 euro livelihood of these 23 people.
