MULTIPLE VEHICLE FIRE AT LA ZENIA CONSUM

Fire fighters were called to attend a vehicle fire in the Consum car park at La Zenia on Tuesday, when a report was received at around noon of a Mercedes SUV burning under the veranda opposite the future, but un-built, emergency coordination centre.

The fire had clearly taken hold at the front of the vehicle, with flames spreading to the cars parked on either side.

The fire fighters extinguished the blaze and report that there were no injuries during the incident.

An investigation has been launched to ascertain if the fire was accidental or malicious, so no other details have been released at this time.
