MAS Y MAS SUPPORTING SAN MIGUEL FOOD BANK

On 30 and 31 May The Neighbours Association “San Miguel Archangel” participated in a campaign to collect food for the local Food Bank at The Supermarket Masymas.

Every branch of The Masymas Supermarket chain ran a similar collection for their local Food Bank. In San Miguel de Salinas the support from shoppers in their donations literally burst the food collection box at the end of the day on Saturday.

Over the two days of the campaign a total of 286.5 kilos of solid foods, 402 liters of milk and 39 euros in cash were collected. These numbers far exceed those achieved in the same establishment last November.

This Association wish to thank all the customers of the shop, staff and volunteers for their generosity and solidarity in this important campaign.
