Urban Art filled la rambla de los Jesuitas in Torre de la Horadada on Sunday as dozens of artists gathered to contest the 3rd Graffiti Competition organised by the Department of Culture in Pilar de la Horadada.
Local artists shared the walls with competitors from Granada, Madrid and Albacete, as they all set about creating their fresco’s based on the theme of ‘marine issues’ the subject chosen by this year’s organisers.
And the names of the winners will be closely guarded, we are told, until 30 July when the Judging Panel will announce their winners at a ceremony in the Cultural centre, commemorating Horadada’s segregation from Orihuela, where the 400 euro first prize will be presented.
