TORREVIEJA ACTORS REACH LOFTY HEIGHTS

This past week saw Actor Tom Watt, the former Eastenders star, author and TV Presenter and now member of the fast becoming famous Cucaracha Club, playing the head of a British spy organisation operating here on the Costablanca. Shooting took place around the Torrevieja area and particularly at the Royal Club Nautical Torrevieja as well as on board the Delfin submarine located in the harbour close to the town centre.

Tom expressed he is very impressed with the enthusiasm, dedication and organisation of the people involved and was even keen to stress how wonderful the background artists were. They took time out, unpaid, in the heat and were very patient during the shooting of the scenes in the Royal Club. The actors loved the place and cannot wait to see the completed footage.

Mr Watt like all the other actors and crew members in the project are giving their time for free, no one is making money out of this community project that has a long term desire to get local actors and personalities to show the area off to the watching world by fostering such productions.

The team is pushing to raise the much needed cash to complete the post production stage, which comes after completion of the film and they are working hard to find new ways to persuade people both to get involved and donate a small amount to the cause. For as little as €10 you will get your name on the end credits as a thank you. The target is to get 1000 people to do so. This is simply to pay a professional editing team to make sure we can watch the story on the screen of your local cinema or TV set. The Ladies from the film are asking people to sponsor them in a Wet T Shirt Ice Bucket Challenge, this is pushed by local singer Chloe Leigh, to help towards this.
