Five people were arrested last Monday for a suspected crime against public health after the Guardia Civil raided a house just opposite the school entrance.
Details of the operation are still being released although those arrested are said to be three Spanish women and 2 men of Pakistani origin. They are alleged to have been dealing in cocaine and heroin.
The Guardia were first warned of the possible existence of the gang just over a week ago since which time they have had a property adjacent to the school under surveillance.
There was said to be a high frequency of access to the house and on leaving the building those observed were said to be uneasy and nervous.
Following the arrests the detainees were made available to the Court of Instruction number Three in Torrevieja.
