RETURN OF ENGLISH CONVERSATION CLASSES

Rosario Martínez Chazarra, the Councillor for Youth has announced the resumption of the English conversation classes at the Center for Information and Youth (CIAJ).

The classes first got underway in 2012 and have proved so popular that hundreds of people have been able to improve their English language skills through the activity.

The current sessions will run through to June 2015 and will mainly consist of oral practice with a group of between 15 and 25 British volunteers.

As well as the improvement of language skills by both groups the meetings also help to promote social relationships as a means of coexistence and integration among the citizens of Torrevieja.

The councilor announced that the groups are currently being held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, from 10:00 to 12:00 and on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 17:00 to 18:00 pm. The venue is the Center for Information and Youth (CIAJ).

Martínez said that the activity is completely free and open to people of all ages.
