Listen to this articleAccording to Carmen Gómez Candel, Torrevieja’s head of the Department of Parks and Gardens, work has begun work on improvements to the gardens and flower beds along La Avenida de las Habaneras.
A new plant irrigation system will be installed along a stretch of approximately 650 meters as well as the removal of aged plants, pruning of palm trees and flower beds, the replacement of artificial lawns, repainting of all road signs and repairs to pavements.
