Fantastic win last saturday 8th November, away, against Barcelona University Club BUC, 28-20 for La Vila, and bonus point

It was not an easy win, the boys did play their best rugby, they looked tired after 5 hours drive to Barcelona center.

The team keeps second on the table. Now two weeks. Next home game will be sunday 7th december, at 12.30 againts Les Abelles Valencia

The second team travelled to Cuenca, 330 km and beat local side for 64-7

The women team lost 34-5 playing away againts Catholic University. At the picture Marta Valero, now selected to play for Regional Selection

The Under 18 lost at home againts La Safor Denia for 0-34

Next Saturday 15th November, plenty of rugby at home

There is still time to join the club as a member, as a player, or as a supporter, we need all the help we can get, so come down and watch our next game and join in!

We are still looking for players for our second senior team, they play in the local Alicante league, mainly, Denia, Alicante, Elche & Torrevieja. So if you are interested, please come along to training, all players are welcome.

The Club also run womens rugby and U18’s, U16’s, U14’s, U12’s, U10’s and U8’s teams. Training has already started, so please come down.

We also have a well-equipped Gym. Members have free access to the Gym. Come and join Rugby La Vila

Anyone wishing to come along will find La Vila Rugby Club situated at Carretera El Pantano, Villajoyosa. Just take the motorway AP-7 exit Nº 66 (Villajoyosa).

At the first roundabout head for the mountain. It is about 1 km from the Motorway exit nº 66. Or take the Villajoyosa by-pass, and take the middle exit, at the first roundabout, bare right towards the motorway entrance and at the second roundabout bare left towards the mountain.
