Drugs officers seize 5 tons of hashish in the Campo de Gibraltar

Officers from the Guardia Civil have seized 4,755 kilos of hashish in the Campo de Gibraltar in various activities in the last few days.

Officers from the Maritime Unit discovered 1,980 kilos of hashish in a rigid inflatable boat in Los Barrios, arresting the three occupants.

In the Puerto de Algeciras, along with colleagues from the Customs and Excise department, officers seized 1,400 kilos of hashish hidden in the roof of a caravan, arresting two occupants.

They also discovered 235 kilos of hashish hidden in the air conditioning ducts of a bus in the same port, arresting the bus driver, and they found two more stashes of 330 kilos and 810 kilos during checks in Tarifa.
