Split into two sessions, the first part in English and the second part translated into German by the International Residents Office head, Heike Schug, with website manager Mark Nolan introducing the idea behind the N332 project and the creation first of the Facebook page by members of the Guardia Civil in Torrevieja, and the subsequent creation of the website by a separate group of professionals to catalogue the information in order to make it easier to find.

Francisco Morales, a serving traffic police officer from Torrevieja, who is in charge of coordinating the team from the Guardia Civil, then took the participants through many of the more common questions that have arisen through both Facebook and the website, everything from driving license renewal, documents you must carry in the car, mobility scooters and microcars, cycles, overtaking and more, including how to spot an unmarked police car.

It is the first time a town hall has taken the initiative to invite the group to give a presentation, which was kept brief with the promise of returning to offer more in-depth presentations on key aspects about driving after the summer period, focusing on many more of the specific questions raised.

The group can be contacted via the Facebook page, and the website, as well as the International Residents Office offering to forward enquiries on your behalf, should you not have access to Facebook. Although, as the team explained, it is not always possible to respond to individual enquiries, those most frequent questions will form the basis of articles published via the internet and other mediums, to ensure that you questions do get answered in some way.
