TRAGAMILLAS SUCCESS IN SPAIN DUATHLON

The National Duathlon Championship was held last weekend in Soria in which six athletes from the local Tragmillas Club took part.

The men’s competition was contested by Guillaume Lemohaeur, Julio Pardo, Fausto López and Francisco Morales while Marina Martinez and Irene Meroño took part in the Ladies race.

On the first day Marina Martinez finished sixth in the U23 category of the female elite race.

The second day saw the age group events in which Guillaume Lamohauer was proclaimed champion in the 35-39 years category. In the same group Julio Pardo was classified in sixteenth position.

Champion of Spain in the 60 to 64 year group was Francisco Morales. Meanwhile Fausto López won the bronze medal in the 45-49 years category.

In the women’s groups Irene Meroño achieved a creditable seventh place in the 30-34 year age group of 30-34.
