Alicante Film Festival Announced

On Tuesday, representatives from the Alicante provincial government presented the details of the 12^th annual film festival that will take place in the city, which will take place between May 29 and June 5.

The government has also provided 17,000 euro in financial support to this year´s event, which will feature a short film competition which will spread across three different categories.

In total, 900 films were submitted to the festival this year, from which 55 were selected to compete.

The winner of the Best Film category stands to pocket 4,000 euro in prize money, with awards also available for the likes of Best Actor, Best Actress, screenplay and more.

All of the short films can be seen in the Panoramis cinema complex in Alicante.
