PILAR TOURIST OFFICE READY FOR THE SUMMER SEASON

The Tourist Information office in Pilar de la Horadada, introduced it’s new summer opening schedule last week at their office in the Plaza Campoamor 2. Through till 30 September the new opening hours are 10am-7pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 1pm on Sundays.

The department will provide detailed information to anyone visiting the town, 50% of which are expected to be overseas visitors from the UK, Germany and Scandinavia. All statistics will be coordinated and published on the dedicated website www.visitpilardelahoradada.com

The Pilareña Tourism Office moved to the center of town four years ago. It is currently situated on the ground floor of the Town Hall, where it has grown substantially in the number of visitors, from just 6744 in 2012 to 9141 in 2014, an increase of almost 30%. That number is expected to increase once again in the coming season.
